Diamond Seven cows have been developed to thrive in the drier environment of the desert Southwest. Our cows are not pampered, they are all treated like commercial cattle. It takes 40-50 acres to run a cow in our country and we have found that an 1150-1300 pound cow is best suited to get the job done here. There are times when our cows have to travel long distances to water, so a functional sound moving animal is a must.
